Dr. Vennekotter, aka Dr. Abby, is one our veterinarians. She is originally from NW Ohio and grew up on a family farm. Dr. Abby completed her bachelor’s degree in Animal Nutrition at Ohio State University in 2016. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois in 2020. Her areas of interest are behavior, surgery, and internal medicine. Outside of work, you can find Dr. Abby reading, doing agility and dock-diving with her cattle dog (Bennett Brooks), obedience and nose work training with her golden retriever (Bonnie Ann), and watching Ohio State Football.
