Dr. Welch is a Raleigh native. He went to Broughton High school, NCSU and then received his veterinary degree from UGA in 1976. He refers to himself as an older practitioner with a lot of experience. Dr. Welch did retire a few years ago but missed being around the precious babies so he came to work three days a week here at Quality Care Animal Hospital. Dr. Welch enjoys spending with his wife, his golden retriever Clara, and watching sports.
